Experts have called Atal Setu, India’s longest sea bridge, a “engineering marvel” since its lights don’t interfere with the aquatic environment and its construction used various technologies that weren’t used before in India, according to a top official.
The ₹17,840 crore Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri—Nhava Sheva Atal Setu—will be officially opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Atal Setu bridge is the longest in India and the nation’s longest sea bridge.

The Prime Minister will also introduce Namo Mahila Shashaktikaran Abhiyaan in the state and lay the cornerstone for an underground road tunnel connecting the Orange Gate of the Eastern Motorway during his visit.
